Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has left a lasting impression on the screen. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on December 26 the 26th of December, 1976. It wasn't long before she moved to Texas. There, she started a new career in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas and moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles that included local independent films as well as global commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from discovering that she was a fan of acting. After moving to New York, in 2001 she got her first part as a performer in the show All My Children. Through the early part of 2000 she appeared in tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she was cast in her first series part on The Mountain which was which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza had the delight of working with outstanding TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of the Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. De La Garza's character was recognized with several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time after. The role was Marisol Delko, the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger twin brother Cory has a ten year old brother who is younger than her. Her family was a relatively conservative and religious family. Milano began her acting career at age seven old. Babysitters took her along to her first audition. The audition was attended by four girls out of more than 1000 applicants. Milano appeared in commercials for television and off-Broadway shows including the first American musical rendition to Jane Eyre.
